About Me
My old family couldn't keep me so I got dropped off at a shelter nearby. They sent me to Wake County SPCA, where I spent 2 whole days shaking and quivering in fear. Lots of people came and went, but when I saw a pair of friendly-looking ladies, I knew it was my chance. The young one came in first, and I was a little hesitant, but she smelled like she wouldn't hurt me. I jumped on her lap and kissed her whole face. Then, I went to her mom and kissed her whole face. I hoped so much that they would take me out of there. We went outside to play, and I was a really good girl. It worked! They took me home a few hours later, and now I'm happy as can be.
I love to roll around on the couch, and I get what my humans call "the zoomies" every morning when I see them and at bedtime. They bring me to work most days, and I have a bed hidden away under a table where I can rest and come out if I want to.
I wear the latest in doggy fashion, but my flower, bumble bee, and frog outfits are my favorites. I also love it when they give me chicken treats in my puzzle toy. My nose is strong enough to sniff them out right away. The humans think they're smart.
I'm still nervous around some people, but I've gotten much better since I've been coming to work with my people. I do NOT like other dogs, but my people say they're teaching me to be less afraid of them. We'll see.
Come by and give me some pets, treats, or even some kind words. I'm learning that all people aren't mean, and that some of them are really ok!
